Just when life starts to settle down, things go crazy again! Last night, Sam and Mandy came home, and started tearing apart the house! They made a huge mess! And they didn't bother to pick it up before they went to bed. The moved the table out of the big eating room, and dragged these big, rough blankets all over the house. Then, Mandy would stand on my tall stool and put stuff on the ceiling! Sam took down all of the indoor sunshine machines that he worked so hard to put up. I just don't understand why they would go to all that work to put stuff up and put it in place only to tear it apart. I told Mandy to put it back together, but all she is doing is drinking that coffee stuff again, and cleaning in the kitchen. She has this blue tape out she's putting all over the place too. Crazy!!!
It's rainy today, so I suppose that means Mandy won't go in the big tub. Peyton is still trying to figure out what's in the pool. I'm not sure if we'll figure it out.
Yesterday, I was able to go to the mailbox again. Although this is slightly embarrassing, Mandy always gives me treats for being a good kitty on the leash. She also let me play in the room with the Man Eating Door. It was fun in there. The door didn't try to eat me, it actually stayed closed. There are lots of boxes out there, and stuff for me to jump on. I had lots of fun playing out there. I practiced my maneuvering skills.
Well, Mandy is waiting for something this morning. I'm not sure what, but it might be scary. I'm off to hide.

Jumping on the Bed! & New Mission
So much has been going on, it's amazing! I love when there is a ton of stuff happening all at once. It goes to show you how crazy people are-even my people. You see, we moved into this house, and Mandy and Sam are still unpacking these crazy boxes. They just keep appearing. Anyway, the other day, they bring this furniture into the house, and I think 'Oh Boy! Furniture!' Do you know what that Mandy did? She picked up all of that furniture and walked it out back and set it up outside! What on earth! Why would you bring perfectly good furniture into the house and then take it outside?! I tried to stop her, and talk her through this ridiculous decision she was making, but all she did was pick me and take me outside with the furniture. We sat on it outside for a while. That was nice, but honestly, furniture outside?! I don't get it. Just plain silliness, if you ask me.
Then yesterday, Mandy took everything off the kitchen counters and moved it all around, only to put it back together this morning. I’m not sure why she moved everything, but she had this white goopy stuff everywhere. Silly girl even forgot to take her rings off and worked hard to get the goopy stuff of her rings. Sam doesn’t know, and she said not to tell him, that there was no harm done. So, I have no idea what she was doing, but everything in the kitchen is back together.
Last night, Sam had Mandy move the furniture around again. I figured for sure, they’d put it back the way I wanted; but no, they did not. They must like to try new things. Mandy use to do this at Old Home, but she always put it back the way it was. I have no idea what these two are doing.
But all of their craziness can be forgiven, because Mandy is finally getting the house clean, and she still plays with us. Even Sam plays with us at night! So last night, Sam was playing with Peyton. He secretly likes to play, but rarely does. Sam was flipping around the toy that Mom-with-cool-toys gave us, and Peyton was jumping around like a Hooligan Cat! HAHA! It was amazing! I would watch him, and then try to jump in and take over, and do you know what? Peyton would push back! It was awesome! Mandy made Sam take small breaks when we got to rough. Mandy says something about not wanting to clean up brain matter. But I think that this soft stuff on the floor would keep that from happening. This soft stuff on the floor is great! I love to roll in it, and sometimes I scratch it. But I get in trouble when I scratch it.
So last night, when Mandy went to bed, she took the toy that Mom-with –cool-toys gave us, and I jumped up on the bed to play with her. She had those feathers flying all over the place, and man I can jump on a bed! It was lots of fun to jump on the bed. I must have been six feet from the floor! It was awesome! It was so fun that even when Mandy stopped playing with the feathers, I kept jumping on the bed. It was awesome! I loved it! It was really tiring though, so when Sam came to bed, I had no problem going to sleep.
I have more to tell you, but I’ m being kicked off the computer.
So that’s all!

Hi All!
I just kicked Elway off the computer, because I wanted to tell you about my new mission. After Mandy took Furniture outside; she spends a lot of time out there. So, I like to go out with her. Elway stands guard so nothing gets to her, and I make sure nothing is going after her in the big tub. Now this is an important job. There is this creature that lives in the big tub. It’s huge--much bigger than me. I try to keep it from Mandy, but this creature scares me a little. I try to be brave for Mandy. The other day, I was trying to protect Mandy from the creature and it started to rain. Mandy didn’t get out of the big tub, she just kept playing in there. So I had to get wet to protect Mandy from the creature. She doesn’t seem to mind the creature, and even moves it around in the big tub. Sam plays with the creature too. I have no idea what it does, but when I find out I’ll let you know. Until then, I will lie low as I am going under cover to solve the mystery of the big tub creature. Upon my hopeful return, I will update you.

Invaders!
This morning, Sam jumped out of bed, and opened the bedroom door for us. So, gladly Elway and I run out of the room to play. This morning we were practicing our Charlie’s Angles moves, and you’ll never guess what happened. We got caught! We jump around the bedroom door, and Mandy is already out of bed! I cannot believe she was awake, but thankfully she did not have a camera. If she could have taken our picture in that ridiculous pose, I would hide in the closet and never come out. But now, I am sure Mandy is waiting to take that picture.
We practice our fight moves regularly. It is part of my plan to scare away villains. The toys that everyone gives us are really used to help hone our fighting skills. Mandy has no idea, or she would not let us play with them. She thinks we are being “cute kitties.” Bleh. Sometimes Elway forgets and actually plays. He has amazing jumping moves. But when he’s playing, he is rough. Hooligan Cat.
Elway has been standing guard in New Home. I do not understand why we were brought here. There must be danger lurking around every corner. Why last night, I was in pursuit of a nasty invader. He was going to bother Mandy while she was making noise on the new noise maker. She will not let us near the new toy. Dumb thing. Anyway, I was able to alert Mandy to danger, and Sam killed the invader. My brave instinct kept everyone safe. Elway stands guard of the bedroom at night, and the shower room when they are washing. We need to make sure that no invaders bother Mandy. Once we have earned her trust it will be easy to rule New Home, just as we did Old Home.
Well, it is time to make my rounds again.
Peyton.

Funny stories
It’s Friday and that can only mean one thing! Weekend's coming! I love weekends because Sam and Mandy normally stay home with us all day on Saturday! It’s great!
Mandy is still bringing boxes in from the Room that Eats Cars. Yesterday I snuck out there when Mandy wasn’t looking and was able to explore. I got a little scared and but it was sure cool! Boy is that place a mess! There are empty boxes everywhere! And then there are more full boxes! Wow Mandy! Get to work! I need my house clean! Clean Mandy, Clean!
There are not many things that Mandy does that annoy me, but I have to tell you about one. She puts us in harness and “walks” us. HELLO?! We’re cats! But she says I do a really good job on Leash. She takes me to the mailbox and then lets me walk home. It’s pretty scary here at New Home, because there are always people outside, and last time, there was a little creature across the street that barked at me. I turned around to look at it, and I was twice its size. I glared and that annoying little creature and it went running into the garage! Don’t mess with me pip-squeak! I’m tough! MEOW! I could eat you for lunch!
Then last night, Mandy finally found the nail clippers and trimmed our nails! I hate this, but you have to understand that we get lots of treats for letting Mandy cut our nails. Right now she has turkey treats! These are finger-licking good! Meow-lishes! When Mandy is done giving me treats, I lick her fingers off, and last night they were so good I licked the bag!!! Turkey treats are my favorite! Turkey Turkey-Yum!
Then, Mandy asks Sam to move furniture around. They moved it around and around! We just got here guys! Leave it alone! I liked it the way it was. Needless to say, everything looks different. I don’t like it. They will put it back the way I want…just wait and see.
I see that Peyton finally came out of hiding to blog! It’s about time! I do have a funny story about Peyton! This morning, Mandy and I were playing on the computer, and Mandy was drinking that coffee stuff again. All of a sudden we hear claw scratching noises, a huge thud and Peyton meowing! Mandy looks and me, and turns around to see Peyton coming down the stairs! HAHAHA! You see, there is a cat-walk on top of the wall that is next to the stairs. The catwalk goes all the way to the top of the stairs. I get on it by running to the top of the stairs and jumping on the flat part of the cat walk. (We have to do this when Mandy isn’t looking because she doesn’t like it. Then I start trying to walk down the slanted wall. I have to be honest; whoever built this cat walk thought we could walk on our heads. It’s steep. I’ve only made it down a few steps. Peyton must not have made it far! Mandy tried to love Peyton to make sure he was ok, but I think his pride was hurt. Haha. Don’t tell him I laughed.

Meow-Humbug
My whole life has changed, and I do not like it one little bit. While Elway is adjusting to all of these changes, I have not. I let Mandy and Sam know how displeased I am.
Well, I guess it is time for the truth to come out...It is really not that bad. I have found new, more comfortable places to sleep than inside the box springs. I can sleep hidden in Closet, which Mandy now leaves open. At Old Home, Mandy always closed Closet. And Mandy has let me sleep more, because she thinks I'm so grouchy. So you see, this act has its benefits.
Mandy and Sam let these strange people into our home, and while I did not let them know I was ok with them being here, I was sad when they left. The next morning, I went up to wake them up, I yelled and yelled for them to open the door and come eat breakfast...and do you know what?! There was no one in there. Mandy opened the door for me, and I looked and looked and those people were gone. There was no sign of them. It was a moment of kindness, but do not worry, I will not let it happen again. After the strange people left, this crazy girl came. She made Mandy crazy too. Try living with two crazy girls! Not cool. So I hid in my closet and tried to sleep. When she left, I did not look for her. I told you, no more acts of kindness.
But everyone is bringing us toys, and Mandy takes time to play with each of us every day. Elway plays so rough. Hooligan Cat. So, Mandy takes time to play nicely with me. Elway does not seem to mind. He says I am no fun. Meow.
Well, anyway, I woke up from my afternoon nap, for this special blog. I was trying to get Mandy to put away boxes. There are not many out, but she keeps finding more boxes and brings them out from wherever she has them stashed. I'm tired of these messes, and would like to settle back down. I hate boxes.
Well, anyway, that is my life right now. I am in the process of returning things to normal, and as soon as life has settled down, I will continue to plot different missions for Elway and I to perform. Oh, that reminds me. Last night we tried one to wake up Sam and Mandy again! While, I have only successfully woke Mandy up once, we were able to wake Sam up. We were playing in the tub, and discussing how we could disturb their sleep (this it to get even for waking us up during nap time!) and he heard us!!! Meow meow!! Victory! Well, that’s all for now.

Ajulie
I found out what ajulie is! Mandy went to go get her from the airport, and brought her back. Ajulie is a tall, loud girl that looks sort of like Mandy, but she brings gifts, and plays with me more than Mandy does. I like Ajulie. She is fun. Ajulie must know Mom with Cool Toys and Shrimp Dad, because their clothes smelled of the same strange hairy creatures. I do know what those creatures are, but I am sure they are big because they had long hairs. Mandy and Ajulie must have had a nice time together because they laughed and talked a lot. Mandy is not normally so loud, but these two girls were loud. They played in the big tub too. I wonder if everyone will play in the big tub. Sam and Mandy sure spend a lot of time doing stuff to the big tub. Ajulie brought me a toy! Everyone is bringing me toys and I love them! Feathers on sticks with bells are amazing!
I have good news! Sam has returned! I am not sure where he was, but he is now home. This morning, Mandy got up and put new stuff all over the bed. She even put the bedspread in a new cover. I thought this meant Sam was gone for good, and we’d have Mandy all to ourselves. However, Mandy left this morning, and when she returned Sam was with her. I am glad he is home, even if we have to share Mandy. But Sam did not bring me a cool toy, and I already got in trouble for my paws being on the table. I don’t understand why that’s a big deal, but Sam always yells at me about it. Even when he is not here, Mandy says Sam will be angry if I don’t get my paws off the table. How rude!
Well, it looks like life might return to normal soon. But I do wish Mandy would put these boxes away. I used to like boxes, but I will be ok if I never play in a box again. Peyton tells Mandy all the time to work harder, but she played all weekend. Maybe now that Sam is home she will get back to work and clean my house.

Crazy Times
It has been the craziest few weeks. I’m sorry we haven’t kept you posted on what’s going on, but we had no idea what was going on. Things are finally calming down. First of all, these strange people come to our house, and they would take Mandy away all day! This went on for several days. Then Strange Man Dad starts staying home, and Strange Lady Mom takes Mandy away. Strange Man Dad wanted us to come out and spend time with him. HA! I don't think so! To top things off Strange Man Dad starts packing Sam and Mandy’s things into boxes! Then these boxes start disappearing! Mandy kept telling us everything would be ok, but I was not sure it would be ok.
Then one morning, Mandy calls us but we don’t come to her. We were hiding in the bed. Everything was changing, and Mandy was a little stressed. We didn’t want to come see her. Do you know what she did!?! She took apart the bed and pulled us out! Next thing we know, she has closed us in the bathroom. At this point, we know everything is a mess! Sam and Mandy said everything would be ok, and that they would take us. But then all these people started showing up. They were making so much noise! At one point, Mandy came in and we peeped our heads out and the bedroom was empty! OUR BED WAS GONE! We started hiding at this point. I’m sure Mandy wouldn’t lie to us, but Strange Man Dad and Strange Lady Mom had changed everything, and I wasn’t sure what was going on at all.
Later in the Day, Sam and Mandy came back and cleaned and cleaned the house. It was silly because there was nothing in the house. When Mandy brought in the cages for us, I jumped right in. I did not want to get left behind!
Then Mandy put us in Strange Car that we had seen in the driveway. We had been in it once, and it was fun to ride it. There was a lot of space to play, not like Mandy’s car. This car had a huge open area behind the back seat! It was cool! This ride though, we stayed in our cages. I didn’t want out; I had no idea what was going on.
When we stopped, Mandy took us in New Home. Guess what!!! All of our stuff was there! Sam and Mandy showed us the whole house, and our couch was there, the table was there, and our bed was there! All of Mandy’s clothes were in the closet! It was awesome! I think new home is great! Mandy even gave us chicken to celebrate New Home!
Peyton is being a brat about the move though. He is starting to calm down, but he was not happy to be in New Home. In fact, the first night we were here, he woke Mandy up! We have never been able to wake her up before, but this time, he screamed and screamed at her! She finally woke up and she yelled at him. I told him he was a brat! Mandy was so tired she almost cried when Peyton wouldn’t let her sleep. Well, Peyton didn’t get any better. He stayed in the closet and pouted. I tried to get him to come out. I thought this new place was cool! All of our stuff was here!
Strange Lady Mom and Strange Man Dad were at the house. I think they might have moved in with us. Maybe that is why we had go to new home. But I think they had more space at the old house.
Well, one night, Strange Lady Mom and Strange Man Dad got in this big tub of water in the back yard. It lights up! I watched them and watched them! They splashed around in it, and laughed! It looked like a big sink, only there was no dripping water. Everyone has been in the big tub now. Sam and Mandy seem to like the big tub.
Anyway, a few days later Strange Lady Mom brought me a toy! It is amazing! It has colorful feathers and a bell! I love it! From that day forward, Strange Lady Mom will no longer be known as Strange Lady Mom, but Mom with cool toys. Strange Man Dad tried to play with the toy too, but Mom with cool toys gave it to me first. Strange Man Dad tried really hard to love me, but it was fun to avoid him, and make him snort. HAHA. Sometime he snarled at me, and it was funny. Peyton never made up to Strange Man Dad and Mom with cool toys. Eventually I think he started tolerating them, but that’s ok. Strange Man Dad feed me this amazing thing called shrimp last night. He shall now be called Shrimp Dad.
Last night, Mandy pulled out Suit Case. I was sad. I hate Suit Case because it eats clothes and takes people away. She started putting Sam’s stuff in it. This morning, Mom with cool toys and Shrimp Dad loaded all of their stuff into a car. Then they put Sam’s suitcase in the car and left! Mom with cool toys and Shrimp Dad stole Sam!!! Mandy was very sad when this all happened. She came back in and poured a cup of smelly brown stuff into a cup. She calls it coffee. She is now on the couch. I think I should go so I can wake her up. She has a lot to do. She said something about leaving later today to pick up ajulie. I’m not sure what ajulie is, but Mandy seems pretty excited. I’ll let you know when I find out!
