Saturdays are normally pretty cool, but I don’t like any day when it rains. The other day it rained and rained and the lightning was making the hair on my neck stand up. Mandy was nice to me though, and sat with me. I was a little nervous, and she stayed close and rubbed my tummy.
Soggy days also mean that I can’t play outside. Peyton has lost sight of his mission to discover more about the creature of the big tub, but I have not lost sight. Soggy days mean my mission is put on hold. But I do have information to report. I tried to get Peyton to come out and work with me, but he was hiding in the bedroom.
Last time Mandy was in the big tub, she pulled the creature out! She told me he was dead! I think the big tub killed him! While I was checking out the big tub, I saw a huge fish in the big tub. I think the fish killed the creature. I tried and tried to get Mandy out of the big tub, but she would not listen. I cried, I ran, I even pretended to play with bugs. Nothing worked to get Mandy out of the tub. She just laughed at me. I think even the trees were trying to worn Mandy about the danger of the big fish. The trees made this awful noise and it would come and go and come and go. The funny thing was, sometimes the tops of the tress would disappear. I don’t know where the trees went, but I think they tried to worn Mandy and then they would hide so they wouldn’t see the fish eat her. Thankfully, Mandy escaped before the fish could get her. He must be very patient because he never moved…not an inch. He didn’t even blink. I tried staring him down, and he always won. At least with the soggy weather today, Mandy probably won’t play in the big tub. I say probably because sometimes she goes out in the rain. Crazy girl! It’s like the big tub isn’t wet enough and she likes to play in the rain. Strange. At least I don’t have to go out with her.
I think the most important news though is breakfast. Mandy fed us turkey again. Turkey used to be my favorite meal, but I don’t like it any more. Neither does Peyton. We refuse to eat the turkey. Mandy says there are six more days of Turkey and then she will get us new food. I just wish the turkey would disappear. I’m tired of Turkey. She’s been feeding us beef with turkey mixed in, but I like beef now.
Well, I’m off to ask for beef. Maybe Mandy will take pity on my cute face. Sometimes when I ask nicely, Mandy will feed me more.
TTFN.
