Clocks

Something is defiantly up with the clocks-- Peyton is right. Not about our breakfast being late, it was a little but not as late as Peyton thought. But Mandy is home from work, and it is still light outside! And she didn’t come home early, because it was dinner time when she walked in the door! Anyway, the doors are open and Peyton and I are running in and outside. It is beautiful! Mandy is leaving the windows open for us when she goes to work, but only the windows with screens on them.

I have found a new stick to bring in the house to torment Mandy. I throw it up in the air and play with it to show Mandy how much I love these dried sticks. I have to remember to take my sticks back outside because all of the sticks I leave in the house disappear. I think Mandy hides them, but I haven’t found her hiding space.

This morning something amazing happened! If you remember back a few months I told you Mandy received a balloon for her birthday. Well, I hate this balloon, but I couldn’t do anything to rid my house of it. Mandy has let the balloon live in our house for months! I finally started ignoring the balloon, but these last few days, the balloon floated up and down, and I thought maybe he was ready to make his move on me. Well this morning, the balloon escaped from the hallway Mandy kept it and floated toward the fan. Sam rescued it, but I knew how I could destroy this balloon for good. When Mandy started getting ready for work, I waited until the balloon started sinking and I chased it into the next room. Sam was right about the fan. The balloon drifted directly into the fan! He took a beating like I’ve never seen before! Mandy came rushing out to save her crazy balloon and hid him in the closet. I think the balloon is dead though, and eventually Mandy will throw him away. She doesn’t keep dead things.

Beating the balloon gives me the confidence boost I need to triumph over Vacuum. I am working on a plan to destroy Vacuum this weekend!
