Over-due

Can you believe it’s been over a month since Mandy last let us update you on our lives? So much has been going on, and I’ve been bugging Mandy to let me update you except her computer died. Thankfully it's working again!

Well, since our last visit it so much has happened; I may have to take a few days to catch you up. But to start I’ll tell you Tim came to visit us. I knew Mandy was getting ready for company because she was doing some company cleaning, however, it did not pass Peyton’s inspection. Mandy has sure let the house go since that tiny person was born. Now villain only comes out once or twice a week. I am thankful he doesn’t visit so often, but Peyton is less than amused that the floor is a little dirtier then he remembers. Anyway, when Tim arrived I was terrified. I ran and hid, until I realized he might play with me. So I came out and made friends. He played with me some but he spent some time splashing around in the big tub. The water was freezing and the few droplets that landed on me made me rush into the house, so I could watch him safely behind the closed windows. Tim also watched TV, and so I was able to freely roam the house when he was watching TV, as he paid no attention to me when he was absorbed in the moving pictures.

Tim’s mom came too, and she was friendly. Oma scratched my head. Peyton loved her several times and allowed her to pet him. She opened the door for us, and that means she is pretty cool. She was quiet and helped Sam and Mandy around the house. One morning when Mandy left she pulled out the Villain, but I know Mandy noticed and was grateful. She enjoyed sitting outside, which meant Peyton and I could go out with her. She liked listening to the birds so she was quiet and Peyton and I could race around the screen threatening anything that might enter and bother Oma.

Elizabeth came with Tim and Oma, but she left after a few days and came back. I hadn’t seen her since we lived at Old Home. She visited us there, and we were young kittens. She and Mandy danced and jumped in front of the TV. It was funny to watch.

Stella has been sleeping well, and she is getting big. She rolls all over the floor, so I can no longer nap in the family room while she plays on the floor. If I fall asleep near her, she is waking me up tugging on my fur.

I do believe that the most exciting news of all happened yesterday though. Peyton, friend to all creatures, found a lizard in our outside area and killed him! Peyton waited and waited for the lizard to come out of hiding; then he pounced on that lizard and showed him what happened to trespassers. I have never been so proud of my brother! Mandy saw what was happening and was able to keep us from bringing the lizard in the house, but it doesn’t matter, because Peyton saw the light! Death to all trespassers!
I’ll write more to fill you in later.
