New Experiences

These last few weeks have been packed full of new experiences. First of all, who knew there was an Easter Bunny who brings good kitties treats?! I think we have been cheated the last several years, because this is the first time the Easter Bunny has made an appearance at our house! Easter is always a special day in our house, but this year the presence of new treats and toys from Mom with Cool Toys made the day extra special for us!

Tax Season is officially over and Sam stayed home with us all weekend! He has even started playing with us in the evenings, and it’s been great! Stella seems to be enjoying the extra play time with Sam.

On Saturday Sam and Mandy woke up early and took the monitor outside and worked in the yard until Stella woke up. Sam even woke the grass eater up and let it eat some. Our grass looks much better now that Sam woke up the eater again.

Sam and Mandy have also been moving furniture around again. When Stella was born, Shrimp Dad and Sam took the small couch into the bedroom, and this weekend Sam and Mandy moved it back. It’s nice to have the house being put back together.

On Saturday it was raining, and Mandy took Stella outside because we always walk around the big tub in the evening. Since it was raining, Mandy stayed under the roof where it was dry and let Peyton and I out. Peyton went flying out into the open space but quickly came back under the covering. It was not enjoyable to play in the rain, so we came back inside. It was a new experience that I don’t care to repeat.

Mandy has been bringing a stick around with her when she walks with Stella in the evenings and it is fun to chase the stick. Last week, Peyton was so intense on the stick that he missed a step and slipped into the big tub. It was rather humorous, but Mandy did a good job of covering her chuckles so Peyton was not embarrassed. What a funny time though. Stella loves to watch us play with the stick, and she lets out a high
pitch squeal to cheer us on.

Well, I’d like to go outside; maybe Mandy will open the door for me.
