CT is up and just as sparkly and
beautiful as I remember. I love sleeping under his beautiful lights—but this
year my naps under his decorated limbs are few and far between. Stella loves to
play with the ornaments, and it really disrupts my naps. Mainly because once
she sees me I think she’d knock over CT to reach me. So, I normally only enjoy
his twinkling lights at night or while Stella is contained to her hair chair.
Speaking of Stella, she has
started walking on her hind legs and now chases after me with both arms
outstretched. This afternoon she found Peyton asleep in the bed upstairs and
she snuggled right into his tummy and kissed his face until he was covered in
slobber. That kid slobbers more than a leaky faucet. Anyway, when he came downstairs to escape
Stella he was soaked.
We have had several beautiful
days and Mandy lets us outside to play. Peyton has been enjoying the warmth,
but I normally opt to stay in the comfort of my own home.
I don’t believe I told you that
Mandy and Sam left us a few weeks ago. They just up and left us to fend for
ourselves. Well that’s not entirely true. Dr. Vick came and looked after us.
She came to give Peyton his pills and feed us. Although I was always hiding in
the same spot when she arrived and she would check on me, I was thankful she
came to feed me. I won’t tell you where I was hiding—that would be silly
because it’s my hiding spot.
Well, I guess I should go. I have
been trying to be a good kitty because Mandy says Santa Paws is watching.
Perhaps I will be able to mail him a letter.
