This weekend was extremely relaxing. Sam and Mandy kept Stella
entertained away from the house and Elway and I were able to sleep in peace. I
am not sure where Sam and Mandy kept jetting off too, but they would return
home only long enough to let Stella eat, sleep and bath. I hardly had to worry
about her interrupting my nap all weekend!
Last night as Sam and Mandy were getting Stella ready for bed, they
were outside walking around. I joined them. Mandy picked me up to snuggle me,
and Sam brought Stella over. I allowed her to pet me. She has not quite learned
the concept of gently stroking my fur, but rather tries to pull fistfuls out. I
was very patient, and did not scream in agony. Mandy is always very careful to
stop her before she pulls too much of my hair out. And she is always good about
rewarding Elway and I after we have allowed Stella to play with us.
Well, Sam let us outside to play this morning, but I have come back in
for a short break. I do believe it is time to go back outside.
