Oh the injustice of it all! Life used to be all about Peyton and me. We had Sam and Mandy well-trained and had
just about everything we wanted—except access to the one room upstairs we
wanted to nap in. Well now, we still don’t have access to that room and the
injustices have increased. Mandy says it’s for the benefit of Stella, but I
think that is just a cover. She doesn’t leave the windows open like she used
to, because she says it is too cold for Stella. Sometimes the doors close us
outside and we have to wait to be allowed back inside!
Then they left us alone
overnight! Can you believe it?! We had to have an early dinner and a very
(very!) late breakfast the next day. I guess it was nice to have the whole
house to ourselves, but the changed meal scheduled was unfair.
And I guess the worse injustice
of it all is that Sam put gates up! Gates! Sam says they are there to keep
Stella from climbing the stairs, but I think it’s really there to keep us from
going upstairs. We can jump over the gates, but it really is an inconveniences.
Well, the windows are currently
open, and since I don’t know for how long, I better get outside and enjoy it
while I can!
