Sam has been letting us play
outside early every morning in the dark! It’s been glorious and it helps Peyton
and I pounce, play and run before Stella wakes up. Apparently, we are noisy and
must be quiet in order not to wake Stella up. Unfortunately it is raining this morning and
so we are running and jumping in the house. Mandy says we can as long as we don’t
scream and wake up the sleeping baby.
Stella has a friend who comes
over and plays with her. They color and play with all of Stella’s toys. Mandy
even leaves Stella with this friend and so I have taken it upon myself to watch
Stella and this girl. I need to report to Mandy the going-ons when she is not
here. It is a big job and I take my responsibility seriously. As soon as Mandy returns home, I greet her at
the door and fill her in. My job is extremely important—Mandy says so.
Tax Season is well underway, and
Sam is very busy. He goes to bed in the dark and wakes up when it is still dark
outside. Not that I mind. I can go to bed and when I’m ready to play in the
middle of the night Sam is already up to let me outside!
Well, the sleeping girl will be
up soon. I need to race around the house another time or two before she does.
