No one respects my work or
appreciates me anymore. Last night, Stella had a rough night. She woke several
times but would fall back asleep quickly. This happened several times before
Mandy just went into Stella’s room to find out what was wrong. I slipped out or
my room, and went with Mandy. She wasn’t thrilled with my decision to tag
along, but said I could go too.
I tried to find out if something
was bugging Stella, so I examined the room closely. I jumped up on the changing
table, climbed over to the crib, made sure that the dangling things over the
crib were all dead, looked for trouble in and around the crib, climbed over the
bed, and dug around under the rocking chair. Mandy said I was noisy, and not
helpful, but I thought I was extremely helpful. I mean Mandy didn’t check out
the room that closely. She was too busy, talking to Stella and feeding her. I
was extremely helpful in discovering that there nothing bothering Stella in her
bed.
After Mandy called for Sam to
come retrieve me, I stormed out of Stella’s room and watched Mandy outside the
door. Oozing my anger, so Mandy would know I was upset.
Well, thankfully, Stella is still
sleeping. I am enjoying having Mandy to myself this morning-even if she doesn’t
appreciate all that I do for her.
