Lounging

Today we are lounging around the house with Mandy and it is marvelous. It has been several days since I spent time with Mandy because she and Sam left us again! I could not believe that they would behave in such a fashion as to desert us again--especially after I told them how I felt about it last time. They were gone even longer than last time, and today Mandy has been rather lazy. I am sitting with her on the couch and the house is quiet. Mandy does not even have music on to listen too, and I am thoroughly enjoying the quiet time with her. Sometimes she is so quiet I think she is asleep, other times she is jabbering away on that talking devise.

This morning Mandy opened the back door and it smelled awful! One of the fish has passed on to a better place, and he smelled ripe! I promised Mandy I did not hurt that fish because I have not been outside since she left me. Mandy said she knew that it was no one’s fault--She said the fish was old and had lived a good life. Sam and Mandy held a small service for the fish and now the fish is resting peacefully.

When Mandy and Sam came home last night, we were already asleep. At first I thought it was the nice lady coming to feed us and clean our box, so I hid in the closet, but when Elway said it was Mandy and Sam I came running out. Mandy says they are home to stay for a good long while, and even promises to put suitcase away! In fact, I think I should remind her to put them away now!
