The people are energized today. Mandy normally does several things around the house during the day, but today Sam is here too. He is working on the computer and cleaning the floors. Mandy is all over the house. She has been upstairs, in the bedroom, in the garage, out back--she is all over the place! They are cleaning and working. Mandy has taken time to play with me, and provide treats for my good behavior. When Vacuum came out Elway took cover under the bed. He is now pouting because Vacuum upset his morning. There is one nice thing about Mandy’s and Sam’s absence last week—No Vacuum. The Vile Villain does not come out when they are not around.
Both yesterday morning and this morning, Mandy sat outside by the big tub soaking her feet. She says it is ready to enjoy! I do not know how she came to this conclusion, as the water still smells the same to me.
Last night, Mandy watched the clock very closely and then suddenly hops up and runs out the front door and stands in the rain. I was completely flabbergasted! Why would she just go stand in the rain? She even invited me to go with her. Why would I want go to stand in the rain? She said she was hoping that she would see the space station fly over. I guess there were a few gaps in the clouds, but I concluded that she was unsuccessful based on her demeanor when came back inside.
Well, I am going to take my afternoon nap.
