Unbelievable treatment!

You would not believe what Mandy dared to do to me this morning! What unallowable treatment! She crossed a line this morning. I came into help her clean the bathroom and she picked me up and started looking at my paw. You see this morning I had played with our beautiful lily, and knocked some of the pollen off. Well, the pollen stained my paw and nose yellow, but I smelled beautiful! Well Mandy tried to clean off my paw, but I refused to allow this, so she filled the tub with a little water and dumped my front paws in the water. Now I will admit the water felt rather nice, it was a comfortable temperature, and eventually I just put all four paws in the water to make my life a little easier.

Well Mandy scrubbed my paw with some soap, and got rid of most of the yellow coloration on my paw and my nose. However, I was not an easy patient to bath. I jumped out of the tub a few times, careful not to hurt Mandy because she was being gentle even if the bath was forced. Eventually Mandy wrapped me in a towel, and dumped me and the towel in the tub. Having a towel in the tub was actually relaxing, and I plopped down on the towel and let Mandy scrub my paw some more. Eventually she let me out of the tub and tried to help me dry off and brush me.

I was entirely too angry to allow her to try and be sweet to me by brushing me. She even took me outside and let me dry off in the warm sun, but it wasn’t enough to make me forgive such cruel and unusual treatment.

After I was completely dried off Mandy loved me a little, and I allowed her to pet me. However I have remained rather aloof in hopes that she will not continue such behavior in the future. Peyton is hidden and refuses to even acknowledge Mandy hoping he will not have to have a bath.

Well, after such a difficult and traumatic morning, I’m going to take a nice long afternoon nap. Mandy can finish cleaning the house on her own.
