So, we’re waiting. All of us. Peyton and I are trying to encourage the baby to come meet us, but she just won’t listen to our pleas. We have tried to help Mandy by chasing her, or having her chase us all of the house this weekend. Last night, I even walked several laps around the pool with her while Sam watered the plants.
Peyton has become rather rambunctious lately. He even tried fishing, not once but TWICE, right in front of Mandy. Needless to say, Peyton ended up a little wet. I was glad he got in trouble! He was awfully bold, jumping up to fish right in front of Mandy like that.
Last night, Peyton was upstairs singing while Mandy played the noise maker. After he stopped singing Mandy went upstairs. I followed her up and begged to be let into the baby’s room. She let me in, and I made a bee-line for the open bathroom door and raced around to the guest room! Since Mandy can’t dive anymore, I easily made it into the guest room! Score one for me! However, Mandy called Sam and he poked at me with a long stick, until he could reach me. Then he pulled me out from under the bed and I was thrown out of the guest room. It sure was sure fun while it lasted though!
Today, Mandy has been cleaning house. Our house seems to be cleaned just about every day. Mandy finds little things to do on a daily bias that seem rather odd. This weekend, she cleaned the wall around the fireplace. Strange.
Mandy has been boiling water today, and dumping it on ant piles out front. I think the water is almost ready so, I am going to watch from the front window!
