This morning, Mandy opened the kitchen window for me and immediately grabbed me away from the window and slammed it closed. Whoa! I immediately knew something was up, but I didn’t know why Mandy was acting so strange. She told Sam there was a frog inside the screen! What?! A frog in my window! How could I miss that? Apparently, she was unsure if the intruder was alive, but she was not going to take any chances since I was there. Sam came over, and cautiously opened the window. I tried to assist Sam, but he pushed me away. Unfortunately, Mandy’s speculation of the frog’s life was correct, the trespasser was dead. I was unable to execute punishment, but I suppose he already received it. Sam carefully pulled the dead prowler from the window and disposed of him. May this be a lesson to all intruders...even if we do not find you, death will follow if you try to enter our house.
Well, since it is early not much else is new. Sam has left for work, and Mandy is getting ready for the day. Yesterday she cleaned house, and pounded on the wall upstairs--she was hanging something in the baby’s room. Peyton helped her, and Mandy was pleased that he was not afraid of the hammer.
I better run, Peyton looks like he is ready to pounce, and I want to make the first move.
