Life Will Never be the Same Again...

So much as happened in the last few weeks—that I am at a loss of what all to tell you. It all started two weeks ago when Mandy and Sam called their family and said the baby was coming the next day. Mandy said that Mom-With-Cool-Toys and Shrimp Dad were coming to take care of Elway and me.

The next morning Sam and Mandy woke up really really early and left Elway and I alone. They said Mom WCT and Shrimp Dad would be here later to feed us dinner, and that it would be a few days before Mandy came home because she had to get the baby taken out of her tummy.

Mandy was telling the truth, Mom WCT and Shrimp Dad showed up and fed us dinner, gave me my pill and even gave us cool new toys! Mom WCT played the noise maker and sang to me, and I came out and welcomed them into my home. They took good care of me since Mandy and Sam left us. They even brought Ajulie into the house and she loved us too.

It is what has happened since Mandy and Sam came home though that has turned our lives upside down. When Mandy came home a few days later, she brought in the tiniest person I have ever seen. Everyone was oh-ing and aw-ing over this tiny creature. Mandy carefully picked her up and everyone held her. Mandy tried to show her to me, and do you know what she did? She bopped me in the nose! The very first time that tiny kick boxing body invader got close enough that I could smell her she smacks me in the nose! Mandy and Sam call her Stella but really she is just a screaming mimi! Whenever she is unhappy she just screams and Mandy or Sam come running to take care of her every whim!

Mom WCT, Shrimp Dad, and Ajulie left after a few days. I had hoped they would taking the tiny screaming mimi with them, but when Sam and Mandy came inside after saying good bye that tiny person was still with them. Mandy said she is here to stay.

I have tried screaming in order to get my way, or to get Mandy’s attention and when Stella is sleeping or eating, (which is most of the time) I get shushed. As long as Stella is awake or if Sam is holding her, Mandy will still jump to help me out. I miss my play time and snuggles with Mandy and it is because of this tiny person I feel like life will never be the same again.
