Rule-Breaker

With the new rule in place, there are now so many rules to remember it is hard to obey them all. I mean four outside rules?! It is just excessive. I will review the rules for you, since Mandy just repeated them to us, that way you do not have to rack your brain to remember all these rules!

      1. No Frog Chomping
     2. No Bug Munching
     3. No Fishing
     4. No Lizard Snatching

Well this morning, Elway became the Rule-Breaker. He found a lizard outback and rather than alerting Mandy, he snatched that lizard up in his jaws of death and raced into the house. Fortunately for the little lizard, he started wiggling around in Elway’s mouth, and right in front of Mandy Elway had to gag that lizard up. He was able to snatch him back into his death trap before Mandy knew what was going on though. He raced into the bedroom, and Mandy knew he had something. She slowly maneuvered her way off the couch, (she attempted to jump, but was unable to do so) and started hollering for Sam. She did her slow trot into the bedroom where she dropped on all fours, still hollering for Sam. Elway was under the bed and attempting to execute the tiny lizard. Sam grabbed the flash light and was able push Elway out from under the bed. Elway raced past Mandy, since she is so slow and into the next room.

Finally the chase ended when Elway gagged the lizard up under the big table. Amazingly, the little lizard was still alive and Sam rescued the lizard from Elway’s jaws of death and took him outside. Mandy is unsure if he will live, but Elway does not mind. He was disappointed he was unable to execute the intruder for trespassing on our domain. Elway says he is working on protecting the home so the baby is safe. He believes if he can rid the house of all intruders, perhaps the baby will come sooner. We are all anxious for her to make her début. I am a little unsure if I am ready to meet her, since she kicks me so often, but Elway is overjoyed to finally meet the little life that practices her kung-fu on us through Mandy’s tummy. Any day now.

Well, it is beautiful outside, and since Mandy did not close the windows after Elway’s escapade, I am going to enjoy the outdoors.
