Lazy Fridays

Today was wonderfully lazy. Sam and Mandy woke up at their normal work time schedule, but Sam stayed home today! He went outside to cut down the grass and Mandy eventually joined him to pull weeds. I watched from the comfort of my window, and it was fun to watch Mandy jump and stifle squeals at the large spiders. I guess one was pretty big, because I could see it move, and Mandy came inside pretty quick. I inspected all of her clothes, and assured her that no other spiders were on her clothing. She went back outside and finished working. Mandy came in first, and Sam followed her in a short while later. When Sam came in, he drank a lot of water, and his face was all red. Mandy gets hot outside when she works, but Peyton and I were careful to watch Sam because he was so hot. After he drank a ton of water, and sat for a while, he seemed to improve. Crazy people working like that outside! You’d think they would figure out why I like to stay inside when it is so hot out there. All well.

Sam left his afternoon, and when he came home his hairs were shorter, and he brought Mandy beautiful flowers. I love flowers. They are soft, delicate, and delicious! I have spent the last hour smelling the beautiful blooms!

I have forbidden Peyton from blogging until his outlook on life improves. I don’t know why he enjoys using our blog as a soap box for his complaints. We have a wonderful and easy life, and I for one, enjoy it.

It’s dinner time and I think I should remind Mandy nicely before Peyton makes more noxious demands.
