Quiet Day

The Half-Sized Human and his parents left this morning. When I came out for breakfast, all of their stuff was down stairs. I carefully inspected everything, and let Peyton eat all of the breakfast. Sam stayed home until they were gone, and then he went to work. So it’s just the three of us—Peyton, Mandy, and me—left at home. It is very quiet, and I am napping outside of the bedroom because I can. The visitors were nice though. The Half-Sized Human would run around the fireplace, and I would chase him. He also fed me food in the kitchen; he was good for hand-outs.

Since things are quite around the house, Mandy is working all over for short periods, and resting. I actually think she might be resting more than working, but I am napping more than playing.

It’s raining outside, and it’s a good day to sleep—so I’m off for another nap.
