The Half-Sized Human and his parents are still here. I have adjusted to their presence, and while I don’t allow them to pet me much, I join in on the festivities. For example, Mandy cooked shrimp for dinner last night. You better believe I was part of the dinner group. I was able to eat my fill of shrimp, although I wouldn’t take any from the Half-Sized Human’s dad. The Half-Sized one is really good for dropping little bites on the floor for me. I don’t think he even intends to feed me, which means I can eat them unnoticed by him. Mandy sometimes gives me an evil eye. Although I don’t know why it would upset her that I'm the food, I mean when she swept this morning I had already cleaned up everything edible.
Mandy, Sam and the guests have spent a lot of time in the big tub. Even when it is raining outside, Half-Sized wants to go out and splash around in the big tub. They have bought new toys for the big tub. One of them allows the people to float around the big tub, while the other one is a huge ball! It is the biggest ball I have ever seen and the people hit this ball all over! The ball must not weigh much because it kind of floats through the air. I watch from the safety of the window, but a few times the ball has set a collision course for my seating area and I have to duck for safety reasons. Mandy and Sam seem to enjoy this game and all of the people laugh and talk loudly while they play. I think they look like Sea Monkeys splashing around the big tub. It is fun to watch.
Peyton is still being rather snobbish. Mandy forces him to come out for dinner, and he does stay and eat. Only at night, close to bed time, does Peyton venture out of the bedroom on his own accord. Even then his bed-time reminder is ignored. The guests like to play games. Some of these games are loud and take of the entire kitchen table while other games cause the people to think quietly. Peyton will join us for the quite games at night, or while the people are watching a movie.
The guests brought a blanket with them and it has the strangest looking animals on it. Both Peyton and I had to venture close to the Half-Sized Human to see the animals. They were very small, but they were the strangest looking creatures. They have four legs, a head and a tail, but they have horns on their back! I guess you would call them horns; they were more like plates that stand up on the animals backs. What kind of strange creatures could those be?
Well, I hear the guests, they must be coming down stairs.
