Mandy made my favorite dinner tonight—tuna and oatmeal. It was delicious, as always, and I loved it. Peyton is not as excited about the homemade tuna meals, but he can just deal, since it is my favorite.
Today has been rather strange. This morning we let Mandy and Sam sleep late because Sam seemed really tired last night. Once they woke up, Mandy fed us breakfast and the she started making breakfast for Sam. He stayed in bed for a little while Mandy cooked. After breakfast they went outside to work. Mandy used the bush whacker and went to work on several bushes, while Sam pulled weeds and picked up Mandy’s mess.
When Mandy came inside, she changed and opened the window for us. We all went outside, and Mandy just sat down in the pool. After a little while, Mandy turned around and just dropped into the big tub. She started floating and was very still. Peyton and I started worrying about her and I went to check on her. She floated close to the edge of the pool, and I reached—very carefully—into the pool to sniff her fingers. She came back to life and I knew she was ok at that point. Peyton came to check her after I made sure she was fine. He talked to her for a while to confirm she was fine and then she started floating again. She floated for a very long time. Normally when Mandy is in the big tub, she swims or splashes around, but not today. It was very disconcerting. However, Sam eventually came out, and he swam some.
This afternoon, Mandy slept on the couch while Sam played on his computer. She was really out of it, because Sam was talking on the phone and making a whole bunch of noise and Mandy didn’t even budge.
Well, I am going to let dinner settle some more and then play with Peyton.
