A few nights ago, Sam and Mandy started moving all of our furniture around! It was rather strange, because it’s been a long time since they moved furniture! And they were not rearranging the furniture; they were moving it all into the kitchen! Then when they got up yesterday morning, they finished moving the furniture all around. Sam moved the couch into the entry way and Peyton and I had a whole room to play in with no furniture! It was awesome!
However, all the fun and games ended when Mandy pulled out the evil villain yesterday morning! But after villain came out, the furniture didn’t get put back in to place. Instead, Mandy tried to gather us into the closet. She said we would be safe in there, and she’d keep the door closed for us. We didn’t want anything to do with the closet because we had open spaces to play! But a strange man ruined our play time. Mandy let the man into the house. Sam showed him all over and then the strange man started dragging stuff into the house. He made so much noise in our house! I thought Vacuum was loud, but whatever this guy did was much louder!
After a long time, he finished and left. Mandy said we could come out of hiding, but we ignored her and stayed hidden away for a long time! Come mid-afternoon Mandy dragged me out of hiding and showed me the house. When she put me down on the floor, the carpet was wet! I smelled all over the house, and everywhere I went the carpet smelled clean but it was wet!
By the time Sam got home the carpets were fairly dry, but Mandy and Sam still haven’t put all the furniture back into place yet. They have put a good portion of it back into place, and Mandy has been working on putting all the “stuff” back in place. I’m glad she doesn’t have a lot of “stuff” out. It makes it easier to put the house back together.
Last night when Sam came home, he was working in the garage. I sat in the front window to watch him. Strange Cat came clear up in front of the house. I only smirked at her as she looked around to see if Peyton was in the front window—he was not, and I wasn’t about to tell him he had a visitor. Sam saw her and watched her for while before he said, “Hi Strange Cat!” She freaked out! I laughed at her in the window and joyously watched as she flew out of our yard! Way to Go Sam! Keep her away from Peyton!
Today Peyton and I have been rather sleepy. We stayed up a good portion of the night playing and wrestling. Unfortunately we kept Mandy and Sam awake. We were guarding the house too! There was an intruder outside our bedroom window and Peyton and I worked hard to scare it away. Sam got up at one point and tried to see what we were fighting off. He said we were imaging things, but that’s only because his untrained eyes cannot see in the dark.
Well, I think I will help Mandy do some more stuff around the house. She has been busy doing odd things lately. She cleans strange things, and today is no exception.
